Since our founding in 1936, we have offered a range of comfortable eyewear with an excellent fit for sports including skiing and snowboarding, as well as golf, fishing, athletics, and driving. We achieved this through the expert know-how which we have cultivated as a specialist manufacturer of goggles and sunglasses, our independent R&D and quality control systems, and by adopting the latest materials and technologies. In recent years, we have entered the optical eyewear business, offering a wide variety of frames, including children's and sports frames, and supporting an active and exciting lifestyle as a general eyewear maker.

We are an established Japanese manufacturer, and our brand was born in Osaka, in 1936, based on the concept of "more active, more comfortable."

AXE was born out of the idea "Vision must continually evolve."
We made it our mission to take advantage of "our advantages as a domestic manufacturer," seeking out new materials and better ergonomics. Our eyewear products are the result of technical skills which we have built up over our 75-year history, and come from a thorough knowledge of every type of situation, offering limitless possibilities.
