Established in 1995 and privately owned, ATLAS Marine Group operates and is represented in three continents and serves a great number of FORTUNE 500 customers around the globe. The Group and their individual companies have achieved the most important recognitions through certifications and accreditations in their fields: ISO-9001-2000, ISO 17020, Lloyds Register, are among those international recognitions.The company started operations performing quantity and quality certification of cargoes of oil, gas, Chemical and solids for several clients in the Venezuelan ports and terminals. Once the operations in Venezuelan were consolidated, the group started opening operations in Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire and Dominican Republic.As a part of an expansion plan, the company purchased in 2005 the M/T Stolt Accord, renaming her as "Pico el Aguila" and reflagged her as a Venezuelan vessel. In mid 2007, the group purchased M/T Itakita and by the end of the year M/T Atlantic Wind was purchased.In October of 2007, the group was entrusted to manage both technically and commercially the Venezuelan Flag Santa Paula, an small multipurpose vessel formerly transporting containers in cabotage.ATLAS Marine Group is integrated by four distinct business units, same are related to cargo management, ship management, and trading of bunkers and process control. The current outturn of USD 29.2 MM a year and the prospect of continuous expansion is the result of specific management practices, clear vision, optimum resources and a very solid strategy.
