Located in Maanshan Economic and Technological Development Zone, and founded in 2001, Anhui Taier Heavy Industry Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Taier Heavy Industry) has a registered capital of 104million yuan, and occupies a land area of nearly 50000m2. In addition, it has now acquired a new area of 170085m2, where the first phase of construction involving 50000m2 plant buildings, an office building and a comprehensive building is underway. The Company now has 420 employees, including 83 managerial personnel and 41 R&D technical personnel, with 65 having a bachelor degree and 9 having a master degree. Taier Heavy Industry is now a listed company under the stock number: 002347. Taier Heavy Industry majors in the development and manufacture of power transmission machinery products, and is dedicated to the design, production, sales and service of industrial universal shafts, gear couplings and shearing blades. Through many yearsâ efforts, the Company now has formed a universal shaft production line equipped mainly with CNC vertical turning machines, CNC boring-million machines, special face tooth milling machines, dedicated cross grinding machine, microprocessor-controlled carburizing furnaces and an automatic welding center; a gear coupling production line equipped mainly with CNC hobbing machines, large CNC gear shaping machines, CNC profile tooth grinding machines, and ion nitriding machines; and a shearing blade production line equipped mainly with CNC planer type milling machines, CNC forced profiling grinding machines and high temperature shaft furnaces. It also possesses high-end testing equipment for physical and chemical analysis, mechanical property, microhardness and nondestructive detection. Taier Heavy Industry is thus capable of developing and manufacturing ultra-heavy load universal shafts for 2500mm-5000mm heavy and medium plate mills, ultra-heavy load universal shafts for blooming and curved-tooth couplings and main motor couplings for finishing of 1250mm-2250mm tandem hot mills, universal shafts and couplings for 850mm-2300mm tandem cold mills, and various cold and hot shearing blades. Its products have once filled the domestic blanks, and have been exported to the United States, Germany, Spain, France, New Zealand, Malaysia, Russia and Turkey. The Company ranks the first in the segment of the industry in both output and sales in China. Its new products under development include hydraulic safety couplings, precision winding drum, sliding plate, bearing block and universal shaft for cold rolling. Of them, the bearing block, universal shaft and sliding plate have been put on market. Taier Heavy Industry is a council member of the Heavy Basic Parts Branch of China Heavy Machinery Industry Association, and a member of the Metallurgical Equipment Branch of China Metal Society, China Universal Mechanical Parts Industrial Association and the Working Committee of Metallurgical Equipment of China Iron & Steel Association. It has passed the certifications of ISO9001 quality management system and ISO 14001 environment management system.
