In 1968 Alexandros Androutsos opens his own factory in Kaminia, an industrial neighbourhood of PiraeusOne of his early constructions is this medicine packaging machineIn 1970 Alexandros Androutsos moves the factory to another industrial area of Piraeus, Lefka, in order to undertake larger-scale constructionsDuring this time, there is quite a demand for exercise equipmentFrom 1975 onwards, the factory was mainly involved in the construction of machine tools which could be used in production lines. A range of machine tools was now being produced and special constructions were reduced to a minimum. This is a machine which draws wire (up to 12mm diameter) directly from the coil and straigtens and cuts the wire to the desired length. Machine tools of this type are still in use today
