I will not be surprise if you have forgotten me since it has been quite a long time that our communication came to a stop but just to refresh your memory, I am Mr.Alex Botha, former Executive Accountant in the department of minerals and mining. The other time, I contacted you for a confidential business that involves the transfer of $7.5 Million which was an over invoiced contract sum which in your response, you indicated your interest to participate in the business. But since that time, you never came back to me as to know if you are interested or not which I do not really know if you are in good health or even did receive that very mail I sent you, so I decided once again to send you this mail so that if you are not interested, you will just tell me so that I can look for some one else. After that time, I noticed a problem looming in our department about the way about of the excess amount missing in the treasury. So I quickly took the funds and deposited it into a safe custody of an embassy here through the help of a friend. After three weeks, I was arrested by the Intelligence security department who questioned me about the funds way about which I never disclosed and as a result of that, I was convicted and jailed for two years. During my prison time, I got the funds delivered as consignment to Malaysia where it is still in safe custody of the embassy through the help of my then friend and the funds are still there till this very moment even though it was not declared as funds in consignment but as family valuable belonging to a refugee fighting for his freedom in Africa. I was just released last week from jail on parole and placed under house arrest till my jail terms ends and as am writing you, am doing so from my bedroom as I cannot be seen outside or in public according to the parole conditions. So I would like to know if you are still interested in our transaction so that I can furnish you with the details as to where you can go and retrieve the consignment containing the funds from the safe place and keep it in your own custody until my parole period ends so that I will come over for taking my share.
