AIGO KOGYO CO. , LTD has been providing high quality hand tools since 1928.
- History-
1928 Gosaburo Aida founded Aida Iron Factory to produce forged farm tools, etc.
1940 Established Aida joint company. A subcontract factory of Tugami Seisakusyo produced military forged products.
1945 Established Aida Noki Seisakusyo and produced forged agricultural tools.
1950 Converted to joint stock corporations.
1952 Produced farm cutter tools, hoeing machines, cultivators.
1958 Started to produce agricultural tools.
1960 Changed the name to AIGO KOGYO CO. , LTD.
1961 Started to mold-forge automobile components.
1966 Round-shape spanner in standard class was qualified as JIS.
1967 Round-shape spanner in strong class and spear-shape spanner were qualified as JIS.
1969 Built Niigata factory to enhance forging production.
1970 Joined Sanjyo Metal Industrial Complex to migrate main factory.
1973 Box wrenches of 15 degree and 45 degree were qualified as JIS.
1974 Monkey wrench in strong class was qualified as JIS.
1975 President, Gosaburo Aida, passed away and chief director, Akio Aida, became president.
1977 Main factory was moved and completed.
1978 Main factory is certified as JIS quality.
1979 Addition of 3 ton hammer forging machine.
1982 Developed and started producing the patented Auto cratch wrench.
1983 Addition of the latest machines for mould producing including NC milling cutter.
1988 Addition of NC milling cutter, press machine and automatic polishing machine.
1990 Invested in designing facilities, CAD / CAM, etc.
1991 Invested in designing facilities, CAD / CAM, etc.
1992 Started to produce Aluminum products.
1993 Introduction of LASCO's NC 3 ton hammer forging machine.
1996 Addition of 110 ton and two 80 ton press machines and CAD.
1999 Addition of 3D CAD / CAM.
2001 Renewed wire electric discharge machine and sales managing sustem.
2003 President, Akio Aida became board chairman and director, Kenkichi Aida, became president.
2005 Addition of a machining center.
