Agro Suree S.A is the leading supplier of quality refined sugar products. We service the industrial and consumer sugar market and market the Agro Sugar brand. In 2004 Agro Sugar produced over 720,000 tonnes of refined sugar from our two refineries in Brazil and South Africa.Refined sugar is produced from raw sugar and the South African raw sugar industry is one of the largest in the world. The South African industry produces 5.2 million tonnes of raw sugar annually and 85 per cent of this is exported. Agro Sugar is the largest domestic customer of Brazilian and South African raw sugar, and the largest exporter of South African and Brazilian refined sugar.
