In accordance to the requirements of the law for grains storage and bulk sale AGRO GRAND BULGARIA is also a registered grain trader. Our company stepped for the first time on the Bulgarian market in the early nineties, when we began to import rice from Egypt for our Bulgarian customers. The product made a name for itself on the Bulgarian market because of its exceptional nutritional and taste qualities. This led to the establishment of our first warehouse in Varna. Its strategic location and our teamâs elaborate market research proved the need to expand our well-functioning warehouse facilities, to extend the variety of products we offer, as well as to start our own production in Bulgaria. We began to offer lentil and bean on the market. We chose the most favourable region for growing rice culture â Plovdiv region, where we bought agricultural land with inbuilt rice production equipment. We leased more rice paddies and began to produce the Bulgarian rice sorts Osmanchik, Selenio, Baldo and Nembo. We established our own production base in the village of Tsalapitsa, Plovdiv region, to process the rice we produce. Our factory is equipped with the most advanced technology in the field of rice processing and has the capacity to produce 120 tones per 24 hours, which places it among the largest on the Balkans and Southeastern Europe.FACTORYWe have our own rice processing factory with production capacity that places it among the largest in Europe. We provide employment for about 100 people. It is situated in the village of Tsalapitsa, Plovdiv region â the most favourable region for rice production in Bulgaria. In order to offer the best possible quality products on the market we have:â¢Rice milling machine. Its capacity is 100-120 tones per day. This machine cleans the rice and separates husk.â¢Stone Separator with ventilation. Works by means of air suction with a capacity of 3.5-6.3 tones per hour.â¢Rice Polishing Machine. Rice processed by this machine contains no bran. This machine cleans the rice and makes it shiny. Its capacity is 2.5 to 4 tones per hour.â¢Automatic Packing Machine with a vertical pack option and four-band measuring scale which produces 36-40 packs per minute and has scaling range between 30 grams and 2 kg.â¢Since 1994 we have a rice processing and packing factory in El Menya, Southern Egypt, where we provide employment for 35 people. It has the capacity to process 100 tones of rice per day. Moreover, we are building a mill in El Menya with the help of a Bulgarian expert.CERTIFICATESWe are developing and introducing an integrated quality control management system, which corresponds to the demands of ISO 9001:2000 standard and to the System for management and control of food safety.AGRO GRAND is a rightful member of BCCI.
