Our ProfileWe are a public quoted company and the leading flexible packaging manufacturer in Sri Lanka, providing quality flexible packaging solutions for a period spanning over 50 years. Our continuous efforts to enhance our standards have resulted in the Company achieving the ISO certification since year 2000 and today we are an ISO: 9001-2000 & ISO 22000 : 2005 certified company.Established in the year 1949 purely to manufacture rolled Aluminum Foil mainly for the tea industry, today we have the capability of supplying printed flexible packaging material using Roto Gravure and Flexo graphic printing technologies for various forms of laminates with foil, film and paper. The annual turnover at Acme Printing & Packaging PLC ( Piliyandala factory ) is around Rs. 732 million (approximately 1000 tons).We have setup a fully owned subsidiary named Acme Packaging Solutions (Private) Ltd at Makandura Industrial Estate Pannala under the â Gamata Karmantha Project â. This company enjoys a 8 year tax holiday. This factory is equipped with state of the art machinery capable of manufacturing mainly film based flexible packaging material. The companyâs annual turnover is around Rs. 360 million ( approximately 480 tons ). The group annual turnover is approximately Rs. 1, 092 million whilst the tonnage is around 1500.We have a state of the art laboratory with testing facilities to check raw materials and products at each stage of manufacture to ensure quality. Our customers include some of the largest multi national companies operating in Sri Lanka such as Unilever, Nestle Lanka, GlaxoSmithKline and CBL Foods International, to name a few.We supply packaging materials in the form of printed/laminated reels, pouches, sheets and lids converted out of Aluminum Foil, BOPP, LLDPE, Nylon, Polyester and Paper for the packaging of a wide range of products such as Confectionery, Milk Powder, Biscuits, Snacks, Drinks/Beverages, Tea, Noodles, Soya Nuggets, Processed Meat Products, Pharmaceuticals, Detergent Powders, Agro Chemicals, Cigarette Foil as well as the Garment industry etc.
